TangiTech Institutes

The 2002-2003 dates for the TangiTech Institutes can be found on the TangiTech Institute page. Anyone seeking information should contact , The Elementary session is for K-6teachers, and Jr. High / High School Session is for 7-12 teachers. These classes are from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for five days. The five days are spread out over a period of weeks and a combination of school days and Saturdays.
TangiTech Institutes have been expanded and teachers now have the opportunity to participate in TangiTech 2 for Elementary , or High School Teachers. To participate in TangiTech 2, teachers must have completed all five days of the original TangiTech. Click Here to see current TangiTech Schedules. |
Web Design Classes

Tangipahoa Parish School System's Instructional Technology Department conducted a series of workshops in Web Page Design during the Summer 2002. These Webpage classes will continue throughout the 2002-2003 school year. Click here for the upcoming schedule of webpage design classes.
Participants will learn how to build a school or class web page for hosting on the "tangischools.org" website. Front Page 2000 will be the programs used in these classes. These hands-on workshops will lead teachers through the step-by-step process of building a web page. Each school has already received a licensed copy of Office Premium 2000, which includes Front Page 2000. Participants should come with an idea of the content of the page that they would like to create, and pertinent facts for their school or class. If there are digital pictures of your school or class that you would like to use, bring those along as well. Each workshop has a limit of 20 participants, and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. Please contact if you are interested in registering. |
